Intimate - Elegant – Enchanted - Backyard Weddings

Intimate - Elegant – Enchanted - Backyard Weddings

Any of those words can describe your Backyard wedding!
Both the ceremony and reception are held at one place and you can choose how you want to decorated it. Free from restrictions, dates available and time slots.

Simple yet beautifully decorated ceremony spot
Some of the money saved from not renting a venue can be used on decorations to create any theme you desire.  Simple to Luxurious!
 Express your own style.

Also with the extra money saved you can build a reception area to create an atmosphere that is all about you.

You can have it catered from a simple BQ, to as fancy as a plated menu to pot luck and it will all fit.

Add Games for everyone’s fun!
Don’t forget you can serve the best summer time desserts
Or maybe you’re more country and want to wear your cowboy boots. Add bales of hay covered with blankets for your guests to sit on, serve the food on paper plates and play country music.

I love a beautiful and intimate backyard wedding.
You can allow all your guests to feel relaxed and at home, while enjoying the natural beauty of the day.
Think about what style you would like to have for your wedding and what things you can include to make it all blend together.
Elegance can be achieved be dressing up the area. Create an elegant ceremony spot with an arch covered in tulle and flowers.
Add columns topped with silk flowers flowing down over the edges to stand between and say your  “I Dos”.
Or Roll out the RED carpet!
Cover the receptions tables with linen tablecloths in colours that match your elegant theme.  You can easily bring the flavour of an indoor venue to your backyard wedding.

Enchanted weddings are only limited by your imagination.
Maybe you’ve always dreamed of a princess ball wedding
or vintage themed wedding.
It’s all up to you!

You may wish to dress in costume and even ask your guests to do the same.
Contact your nearest Event wedding supply company and shop to get supplies and ideas.
I recommend: A Special Event
We customize our services to meet your specific needs and budget.  Early setup and late breakdowns for tents, furniture and other items are not a problem.  Going the extra mile to deliver you a truly Special Event is what we excel in.

You can use everything available to you in the backyard to create the atmosphere you desire. Hang decorations from tree branches.

Use a border fence as a decorated backdrop.

Once you’ve chosen the style/theme wedding you want, the ideas will flow and your friends will want to help decorate too.

There’s just one last thing that you must do!
Hire a legally ordained wedding officiant to write and perform your ceremony.
And just to help you out, that’s me!

Busy Bee Café hosts Cheryl & Robert’s intimate wedding in Raleigh

Cheryl and Robert are a match made in heaven. They came together on February 28, 2015  with a full house of family & friends to get married at Busy Bee in Raleigh, NC.

They've been together for 9 years and decided to tie the knot!
Their love was very special and you could see it in their eyes.

Weddings are held up stairs in the Hive Room. The stairs are decorated for Cheryl & Robert's special day!

The Hive room is set up with a stage to perform the ceremony on & dance the night away too.
For this couple I stood on the edge of the stage. Where one of these earthy candle decorations on each side of us. Friends and family can come early and decorate with the couple in mind.

Down from the stage is the bar on one side & a long wall shelf seating on the opposite side.
Some of the decorations included this cute floating candle with 2 love birds &  this burlap covered plant with the date written on the chalkboard.
On the bar side the Bride & Groom chairs were set up.

They also had picture frames with photos to capture the couple smiling.

At the very end of the bar they had their pretty cake set up for all to enjoy.

The Flower Girl gets her mini flower pinned on & the Ring Bearer gets his shoes tied.
Already for the ceremony!
They were very happy to have Robert’s daughter Meta Kate be a part of their wedding by reading 2 heartfelt Bible verses.
Niece & nephew as Flower Girl & Ring Bearer

A short but sweet ceremony with a promise of a long and happy life to come!
I knew the very blessing of God poured down upon them and their family.
The buffet set up for some down home southern cookin!
Very tasty food. A slider, grilled chicken & tatter tots.
Everyone enjoyed the great food & socializing.
I thoroughly enjoyed performing the wedding ceremony for
Mr. & Mrs. Robert White.
